Summary0001288: [Eagle]Request calculating B10 on MTBF data
DescriptionHi Sean

SKB requested calculating B10(where B10 is the number of operations that a device will operate prior to 10% of a sample of those devices would fail and nop is number of operations. B10d is the same calculation, but where 10% of the sample would fail to danger. nop is the number of operations/cycle in one year) on your provided MTBF data(attached file).
You can calculate using MTBF calculating S/W.
Please refer to below link.

Please calculate B0.01 ~ B10 as like below chart.

I will updated to Mantis.

Best regards

Hi Lonnie,

It seems SKB ask us to provide the calcultion B0.01~B10 based on the Eagle original MTBF report?
Anyway, I have sent this request to our HWQA team for evaluation.
I will get back to you tomorrow once I get the reply from our QA team tomorrow.

Thanks,
Regards,
Sean

Hi Lonnie,

According to our QA, we have to collect the samples q'ty/ test time/ the failure rate & time of the burn-in test in Eagle's production, so that we have data to calculate the MTBF B10
However, our factory PE told us that they don't found any defect boards in burn-in station from 04/2020 to now. So, the B10 seems can not be calculated.
Anyway, we are checking with factory side to know the exact number of samples, which has been tested in the burn-in since 04/2020.
Could you check it and let us know your idea?

Thanks,
Regards,
Sean
